Travelling with kids? There is plenty to do in the local area to keep them entertained! Why not go on an adventure and explore the incredible Goughs cave in Cheddar or if you fancy a short drive then the caves of Wookey Hole are close by. Ever wondered how cheese is made? Pop into The Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company and see for yourself. Take a stroll around the Reservoir (can you spot Reservoir View?!) Longleat Safari Park is less than an hour’s drive away and a fab day out for all of the family.
The property is only a 25 min drive from Bristol airport and within easy reach of the historic city of Bath. More nearby attractions include The City of Wells which is best known for its stunning Cathedral and Bishops Palace. Glastonbury, which is steeped in myths and legends, quirky shops and the famous Tor and close by to the world famous Glastonbury festival site. For some retail therapy take a visit to Clarks Village Outlet Shopping. If fine dining is what you are after then you will be spoilt for choice with some of Somerset’s finest eateries all within close proximity.
