We had a great time at the property. The house more than met our expectations. It was beautifully decorated with gorgeous views.

From the moment you arrive; before you even enter the property you are blown away by the breath taking views. Once inside you are met with the feeling that every single detail has been well thought out with luxury and beauty as the guiding principle. Personal slippers, robes, lush toiletries, ambiance, aromatic scents, open and airy spaces, large windows that perfect the light to view ratio and exceptionally comfortable yet visually appealing furnishings. This is the home of my dreams! Guests will not be disappointed! The only downside is leaving to return to reality!

What an amazing stay we have just returned from for my partners 40th! Reservoir View is very special Such an amazing property in immaculate condition with the most hospitable owners who made us feel so welcome. Any questions or help we needed the owners were always on hand!

We really didn’t want to leave… the weekend went too quickly and we can’t wait to book in again. The views from the property are stunning especially at sunset. The town in such a short distance away with Cheddar Gorge so close and amazing tea rooms.

Everything was amazing from start to finish!! Two great hosts met us promptly on arrival and showed us around and how to work everything. The house itself was absolutely fantastic, spotlessly clean every amenity you can imagine!! Fantastic décor and all top of the range furniture and appliances!! The owners clearly have put a lot of time, effort and money in here. Perfect location, the most comfortable beds and sofas ever!! Literally the best place we have ever been!! Absolutely faultless, thanks again!

How do I begin… the estate is wonderful – which is an understatement! The home looks better in person than the pictures show – which usually never happens!

The house has all modern amenities with a beautiful fully equipped kitchen. The entertainment/sitting area is spacious and well appointed with beautiful décor!

Although the panoramic view of Cheddar is spectacular – the best surprise was the wild goats, who would visit every morning and evening! One evening in the hot tub, they were grazing 5 feet away, and were never bothered by us! Truly a memorable night! The village of Cheddar is a walk away with wonderful stores and pubs. We will definitely return to England and visit again!

Views are spectacular, everything and more than you need, truly relaxing, we didn’t leave all weekend.

An absolutely stunning property set in the most beautiful grounds. We recently visited The Woodlands Estate for a getaway bank holiday weekend and the stay was incredible.

Lisa and Glen were perfect hosts. The house is kitted out with all the mod cons and Lisa has created a stunning, colourful interior.

Definitely a place to visit and we shall be coming back real soon.

We visited Reservoir View in January for my husband’s 40th. From the moment we arrived Lisa could not have been a better host. She was welcoming, replenished things when we ran out and was extremely accommodating in terms of arrival and departure. The house was beautiful and had everything that we needed and more. All of the appliances, furniture and everything is high quality so it really felt like we were staying in a luxury hotel rather than a holiday let. We have already booked to return with our children and all of our family for New Year! I would recommend this property to anyone! Cheddar was beautiful and a short walk away. Our hosts made some great recommendations for meals. We loved it.

What an amazing place!!! Large but the vibe and décor make you feel so at home, everything and anything is there or can be arranged by the owners.

We asked for an evening yoga class on the upper terrace to watch the sunset after our long car journey which was simply just magical and what we needed to start our weekend of relaxation of peace and tranquillity. The beds were so comfortable we had the best night’s sleep in ages, then a leisurely brunch followed by an amazing massage all without leaving our little bit of heaven!!!

The most amazing property with views over Cheddar and the surrounding area. Impeccably kitted out with anything you might need, and they went the extra mile decorating it for Christmas. Walking distance into Cheddar (hill is steep but OK if you’re fit!). Heartily recommend for a get together with friends or family.

It is a stunning property and very well located in Cheddar.. the property itself is beautifully decorated and the views overlooking the reservoir and the surrounding area are just stunning. Lisa and Glen have not held back on how it is furnished with plenty of appliances, cutlery to ensure you are never short of anything. The soft furnishings are very cosy to make one feel at home. Even though the location is very close to all the amenities, it is still well isolated from other noise and disturbance. The trails behind the house that take you over the Gorge are also an added bonus. If we are ever looking to stay near Cheddar, we would definitely book this again.

Reservoir View was a truly amazing place to stay, so much space and decorated to a really high standard. Plenty of places to walk and visit. The photos on the website really do not do this place justice!

We stayed in reservoir view for a family gathering with children. The pictures don’t do it justice! It’s a truly amazing space with wonderful views. You are a short journey away from cheddar gorge and there is plenty to do. Every detail is done to a high standard and Lisa was really helpful and responsive. Hope to be back.

What can I say, fantastic property with beautiful furnishings, all with a touch of elegance. The property was equipped to a very high standard, nothing missing.

We enjoyed watching the goats climb down the quarry, a couple of time making my heart skip thinking they might fall, but they always made it.

Glen and Lisa were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble.

Can’t wait to visit again and would recommend anyone to book quickly or you might miss out.

One-of-a-kind property that has to be one of the best places I’ve had the pleasure of staying at.

It is very spacious, with plenty of room inside and outside, it has been exquisitely decorated, the beds are exceptionally comfortable and the bathrooms (of which there are plenty) are pure luxury. The entertaining space is comfortable and generously proportioned, perfect for large groups! And last but not least, the kitchen was a real pleasure to cook in.

This property offers pure luxury and indulgence whilst also benefitting from an incredible view. We stayed during a rainy March but loved how atmospheric it was. We will definitely be returning, hopefully in the Summer to make the most of the beautiful terraces.
